So, which do you think is the best story of series 3 of Doctor Who?
This thread and the poll are going to remain locked until the last episode has finished broadcasting. Thank You.

Let voting COMMENCE! So, which story do you rate higest then? My choice is for 'Blink' as it's (in my opinion) a prime example of a classic Doctor Who story. Marvellous stuff.

Series 3 is only just about to begin here on Friday, so some of us won't be able to vote for a while.

I voted for The Shakespeare Code, simply because that's the only one I clearly remember, and also because I thought it was quite well done. To be honest, I didn't even bother paying too much attention to the last 2 episodes when they were shown. LOL

My favourite episode was Blink. I thought it was clever how she could communicate with the Doctor using her DVD's by unlocking the 'Easter Eggs'. The Weeping Angels were very good as there just statues that are all around us and don't appear to be evil.
I only saw the first episode of the three parts and I only saw the last 15 minutes of the final episode. I was suprised Jack Harkness was who he said he was. I wonder how his head became so large.

Blink as well, it really stood out from the others and was very clever as well. "Don't turn your back on them! Don't move! Don't blink!" I actually found the episode quite creepy myself as an adult.

To be honest, I found 'Blink' a little tedious, and I thought it almost belonged in a bad horror movie. But it wasn't too bad an episode.

In comparing Series 3 to Series 2, I think Series 3 is the better of the two. Series 2 | Series 3 | Preference | New Earth | Smith and Jones | Smith and Jones | Tooth and Claw | The Shakespeare Code | The Shakespeare Code | School Reunion | Gridlock | Gridlock | The Girl in the Fireplace | Daleks in Manhattan | The Girl in the Fireplace | The Rise of the Cybermen | Evolution of the Daleks | Evolution of the Daleks | The Age of Steel | The Lazarus Experiment | The Age of Steel | The Idiot's Lantern | 42 | 42 | The Impossible Planet | Human Nature | The Impossible Planet | The Satan Pit | The Family of Blood | The Satan Pit | Love & Monsters | Blink | Blink | Fear Her | Utopia | Utopia | Army of Ghosts | The Sound of Drums | The Sound of Drums | Doomsday | The Last of the Time Lords | The Last of the Time Lords |
Series 2: 4 Episodes Series 3: 9 Episodes Well, those are my preferences. I personally think that Tennant's stories are improving.

Blink - definitely my favorite ep. of the 3 season. Just excellent! I found myself looking twice at stoneworks the next day... [kidding, kind of ] It was so suspenseful; beautifully shot... just ingenious all the way through. ^_^

Definitely Blink. But Sound of Drums/Last of the Time Lords is a very close second.

Steven Moffat's stories have always been my favorites of each series, so it's no surprise that Blink is among my favorites from Series 3. Besides Blink, I also enjoyed Human Nature/Family of Blood. I still haven't read Paul Cornell's original book of that, though.

Steven Moffat is an excellent writer I loved Blink! I also really, really loved The Girl In The Fire Place, that's one of my all time faves from the new series. I loved how he kept popping in and out across Madame De Popmpadour's life, thinking he's stuck in time, that really sombre ending. And the humour was just right! (The horse = "Well stop following me, I'm not your mother!"

I loved those bits with the horse, especially when Rose told the Doctor he couldn't keep the horse as a pet, and the Doctor replied, "What about Mickey? I let you keep him," or something like that. I can't wait to see in which direction Moffat takes the show in 2010.

Blink was clearly the greatest. "Life is long and you are hot!" Sad what happens... I have a friend who watched it with me, and after she saw it, she went home and smashed the head of her weeping angel in
