From time to time theories begin circulating, and not once has it been rumored that behind our back plans are being made for the fourth movie.
What would be your views on this matter? Would you like this to happen, do you think it would fail?
I have contradictory feelings about it, that's for sure. On one hand there is nothing I would love better than seeing how the movie evolves, to find out the answers to all the question that I have ever since seeing the end of Revolutions. On the other hand I think that it has really great chances to be one of those sequels that would just destroy the quality of the original, as it would be hard to continue the story without making it look weird and out of place. Maybe it would be nice if they would think of turning the main storyline of the MxO into a movie when the game ends.

To be honest I wouldn't have minded if they didn't do any sequels for the first one. The second and third film really didn't do justice for the original. I'm not sure if I would like to see a forth film. The forth film would answer questions such as did the machines keep the peace and what happened to mankind such as did they rebuild Zion? However if the forth film did terrible like Reloaded then it would just ruin The Matrix.

I don't think it's a good idea.
Even the third movie seemed a bit dull and forced.

It would be great if they would find a way to answer all the questions that exist, but without ruining the first movies. Another bad movie in the trilogy would just make everything look bad.
