... when the movies were released? Were you at a long line in front of the cinema, waiting to see them? You had no idea they existed and saw them much later? Were you a fan from the beginning or did your fondness for them develop later?
Personally I have no idea where I was when the first one was out. I only found out about it after all the magazines were crazy about it, writing pages and pages on it, thus making me hate it. By the time Reloaded was out I had enough of it and eagerly avoided everything related to it. And when Revolutions was out I remember perfectly. I was so intrigued by the poster that I decided to see the movies. And once I did I regretted not having done it earlier. They captivated me at the first sight.
Since then I have seen the first movie 3 times, Reloaded 2 times, and Revolutions once, not to count the endless times I've seen them in fan movies and the fragments when I did my own vids.

I don't recall ever hearing about the original Matrix until it was already out on DVD. By that time there was a huge buzz going around about it. I managed to avoid all spoilers, and ordered it on PPV one night with some friends. We were AMAZED, and fell in love with the movie instantly.
For the sequels, I was one of the one who stood for an hour in line to watch Reloaded the night it premiered. There were people dressed like Neo and like Smith, it was a cool experience. One guy even brought a laptop and was watching Matrix part 1 on it while in line, so some of us got to watch a little of it on his laptop to kill time while waiting.
The same for Revolutions, again I waited in a long line the night it opened.
The Matrix sequels and the new Star Wars trilogy are the only movies I've made an effort to see on their opening nights, knowing I'd be in a line for an hour or more.

That's a long wait for a movie, but since it was the premiere night you're lucky you got in. I don't think I'd ever have the patience to wait so long for a movie.

That's fun for me though, but only for special movies like the Matrix sequels or new Star Wars trilogy. There's no way I'd wait for just any movie, they have to be really special. But it's fun when you're so hyped up to see something, standing in line discussing it with strangers, knowing they are just as excited as you to see it. I can think of no known movies coming out in the future I'll stand in line to see opening night, not even the new Indiana Jones movie or the new Star Trek movie.

When the first one came out, I'm not sure where I was but really wasn't at all impressed with the previews - I still don't know why but I guess I wasn't "interested" which is a laugh considering it's my top 5 favorites of all time!
Now with Reloaded, I went with a friend and we stood outside for I'm not sure how long, maybe an hour? And the line kept getting longer and longer, we were all just waiting for the place to open lol.
Fast forward 6 months to Revolutions. I saw it opening weekend but there was NO line.

Well I can't say I queued up for hours. For the Matrix I didn't realise it exisited till it came on the television about 18 months after it was released in the cinemas. I didn't queue for the sequels either. I bought Reloaded as soon as it came out on DVD and was very dissapointed so I waited till Revoultions came out on the television.
I'm not a person who will queue for hours to watch it. I just don't see the point. I know i'll watch it one day.

I never saw Revolutions in the theater. I rented it later when I wanted to see Reloaded again. (The first time I saw it in the theater, but it was toward the end of the run and my sister and I were the only ones watching).
