Oh my god, oh my god OH MY GOD!!!! This is the coolest movie I have ever seen!!! I nearly crapped my pants at the ending, it has such an awsome twist!!!! I can't wait to see number 2... getting it on DVD as soon as I find the money for it ;D
Spoilers below
This movie is absolutely awsome. The twist at the end is so unreal, I almost didn't believe it. It's just so good! But it is kinda tight what happens to Adam. Who was he before to deserve that? Ok, the first guy who died in the razor wire room slit his wrists, so the jigsaw guy tested him to see if he really did want to die, the chick was a heroin addict, and the guy who burned finked heaps of people pretending to be sick. But what about Zep? i probably need to watch it again. What did Zep do wrong? And Lawrence? Lawrence did nothing wrong. The jigsaw killer got it wrong when he picked Lawrence. He didn't cheat on his wife!
Still, a totally awsome movie. I felt sick when the tape for the second guy was playing... "the combination is written on the walls..." and then it showed the numbers everywhere.... that would feel so horrible... I could never do that
All in all, the best movie I've seen in a long time ;D

I have to agree with you it was a good movie, gross movie, but something kept you at the T.V. When I watched it a few days ago, I was freaked out at the movie and it was really confusing of how jigsaw controls all of these people. The end was horrible, if I was shot in the shoulder, stuck in a room with no lights and with a corpse.......
I wonder what happened to lawrence he just crawls away. I also dont understand how jigsaw just stands up from the pool of blood and pulls of the mask, how he was able to stay there in that position for 6 hours.

Well if you listen to the audio commentary on the DVD (only sad people with no time on their hands listen to DVD commentaryies ) the directors say that "we'll let you decide what happens to Lawrence and Adam" Kinda sucky, but meh. And as for jigsaw lying in the room the whole time... he probably had some potion or something inside him to keep him in that state until a certain time. So, let's say Adam and Lawrence both hacked off their feet and escaped, jigsaw would walk up and find them gone... or they both stayed put, he woke up, and locked them in. Yeah it would suck being Adam at the end...

Saw is one of those films I rather not watch. It's pretty gory and nasty. However, I did watch the film, and as horror movies go, it wasn't bad (but very nasty). I also watched Saw 2 and 3, but didn't think they were as good as the first film. There is another film out towards the end of this year, Saw IV. Goodness knows who gets hacked and stabbed in this one... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saw_(film)

I liked Saw, I thought it set a whole new precedent for horror movies. It was a bit gross, but there was a lot of mystery involved, which made it exciting and suspenseful.
Part two was okay, but the mystery trick in that one seemed a little forced. I prefer part 3 over part two, and loved the ending of that movie, although I have to admit the dead pig scene was extremely gross, lol.

I think this is the one series where I don't mind constant sequels .. the whole idea behind Jigsaw and his twisted vigilante goals are really intriguing ..

teehee I've followed the SAW franchise since the very beginning, and own 1,2 and 4 in special 2-disc editions. ..3 was too expensive in special edition, I have the regular one.
What I'd do to meet James and Leigh..
