Ok there making another amityville horror and i have to say. This movie looks scary. Hopefully it will be a good movie. I never saw the old ones. But ive seen bits and pieces of it. But the new one looks good.

But the new one looks good. I am just hoping they don't screw it up and make it all special effects and forget the plot. That seems to be the M.O. for all horror movie remakes lately. The original was great.....I think they have a lot to work towards if it is going to be anywhere near as good as the original.

These days all horror films are is special effects and gore. Now mind you, a certain level of gore is to be expected but in movies like Saw and the Texas Chainsaw remake, they just go over the top. They focus on that over plot and story. CW is right, the original Amityville was awesome and I'd be surprised if they could do a good remake of that classic film.

I'm in agreement with DR and Wolf. I thought the original was great, but I fear they will make this one just another modern horror movie aimed at teenagers. I hope I'm proved wrong.
