The gore is inventive to say the least. lol Yeah, I'd agree with that, for a modern day thriller it goes well with the splatter stuff, but not excessively over the top.

I stayed up and watched this last night! Pretty good movie! I enjoy the death forumla they use, its what sepereated the first one from the rest, and it does the same thing in this one! I also enjoy watching a series of chain of events that lead up to a persons death, makes ya wonder!

Those chain of events were great, I didn't expect the girl in the rv to get the pipe via the airbag, I was waiting for the petrol to explode and get someone ...

That part was rather shocking. lol It made me jump the first time. But then again, it doesn't take much to startle me...

LOL @ empress of horror being scared. And yes a little fright every now and again during a movie is great weather it's horror or not.

Sorry for bumping such an old thread but it didn't seem fair starting a duplicate either. I have never seen the first movie, but I have seen the second one last night, the promotionals intrigued me It was quite a cool movie, really scary at bits and perhaps a bit to exagerrated with the details: too much blood and all. I liked the main idea, that death has a plan and you cannot escape death for long. Now I'm looking forward to seeing the first movie. Wasn't there a third final destination as well?

I can't believe this thread was made almost 3 years ago. If you have not seen the first film, you really need to - it's the best of the three. I saw Final Destination 3 the other day - it was on British SKY Premier channel. Just like the other films, it was full of shocks and horror and gore, but again, I much preferred the first film.

Wow, 3 years ago, it doesn't seem like that long ago. There I was talking about wanting to see part 2, and I've long since seen it and part 3. I have to agree with Val, the first one was the best, followed by part two then three, but all 3 of them were good in my opinion.
