Cube, which was made in 1997, is an excellent film. Seven complete strangers of widely varying personalities are involuntarily placed in an endless maze containing deadly traps. All about the characters, the meaning of their names, and the traps, can be found here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cube_(movie)Because I really enjoyed the first film, I went and bought the sequel, Cube 2: Hypercube, but as happens often, I didn't enjoy it half as much as the first film. I didn't buy the third film, which is a prequal called: Cube Zero, but watched it on TV. Didn't think much of this film either. The 2 follow-up films weren't all that bad, but I expected more from them.

I never knew there was a third film. I have seen the first two, but it's been a few years ago when they were on the SciFi channel one night. I know they're low budget films, but I really liked them. If anything, the whole idea behind the cube breaking the laws of physics was intriguing. There were alot of situations the characters went through inside the cube that was brilliant. I give the writers credit for coming up with those scenarios. I have only seen the first two once, and it's been a while. I'd really like to see them again. Actually, aren't these science fiction movies?

Actually, aren't these science fiction movies? No need for the tongue, Myke. Most of the film threads in the Horror section are both horror and sci-fi genre. In fact, this film has more than 2 genres (like a lot of films). It's a: Drame/Horror/Mystery/Sci-Fi/Thriller. So, take your pick.

LOL No, but I have seen other threads here where I questioned their right to be in this section, but never saw anyone mentioning that those should go into the Sci-Fi section. I am just a stickler for things like that. Don't pay any attention.
