To all Futurama fans. If you haven't heard about these two movies you will be EXTERMINATED! Futurama has returned with 2 new feature lenght films, Bender's Big Score and The Beast With A Billion Backs. As far as I can remember (according to BBS audio commentary) there should be two more movies to come. Which is just awesome! BBS has one of the finest storylines I have ever seen in a sci-fi movie, involving mind-warping time travel, which interlocks and references many things from the show. I won't go into any detail yet, as I don't know if anyone else has seen it, if they have, let the discussions begin! BWABB is also fantastic, perhaps not as edge-of-your-seat as BBS, but it is still a fantastic film. So, who has witnessed Futurama's epic/awesome return? ;D

I love Futurama. I've seen both movies, though not on DVD, but on Comedy Central.

I thought Bender's Big Score was the best Futurama to date. It had a little of everything you could want.
Beast with a Billion Backs....I could've done without that one.

How come Speed? I'll admit BWABB wasn't the best effort they've done, but it was thoroughly enjoyable I thought. The deathball stuff was pretty funny, and the league of robots, etc. And it had a good storyline.

The story just didn't grab me. I guess after Bender's Big Score they just set the bar too high. I was expecting them to top the pinnacle of Futurama to date, and they just couldn't deliver. I was just disappointed with the main storyline. There were a lot of funny non sequiter moments, though.

I'll admit, they did set a damn high bar with BBS. That was a damn fine flim. Oh well. Can't wait for Bender's Game now

On rethinking this whole thing, I must admit that I am somewhat of a sappy romantic at heart. I really want to see the Leela/Fry storyline resolved with them getting married, or at least going on dates. If this is the last Futurama to be produced, I think they need to wrap up this neverending love story. I, as a fan, want closure.

Yeah I must admit, while I do like the occasional movie/TV series that ends without explaining that one thing, leaving it for "you to decide", it gets quite frustrating sometimes. I too would like to see if Leela and Fry get together, or if at least they realise they're just not for each other and become best friends. Or something like that. Whatever.
