I saw this film, starring Sarah Michelle Gellar only a month and a half ago for the first time.
Any thoughts? I thought it was quite good, though the little boy's appearances were rather disturbing, but still a very enjoyable horror. The pacing may have been a little lack-luster and whilst I wouldn't say it was spectacular or one of the best horror films, it kept me entertained.

I thought it was pretty scary actually. The "uuuuh" noise freaked me out a little. It had some good scary scenes, but I agree Bones, the little blue boy was quite disturbing. His caterwauling was more comical I would have to say; my friend and I in IT class last year keep making it and laughing ourselves all the way to detention I found this a good scary movie. It didn't have any "dun dun dun dun dundundun STAB STAB" scenes where the young skimpy girl is walking round the house half naked with all the lights off then STAB she gets killed. That's not scary. It had some good horror themes - scary noises and images - those are the things that stick in your head and scare you long after the movie is over. Like all horror movies, I'm satisfied knowing the monster in it can't get me, if by some bizarre reason they exist. In this case, I haven't been to the house, therefore no grudge can be held to me Similar to the ring, I never watched the tape, so I can't be affected. (The only exception to the rule is The thing - that thing just kills anyone!)

In a time when original horror films are dying out for cheap pointless remakes that don't need to be made, I don't mind admitting this was the first true decent horror film that had actually had an effect on me. For the first time in years. I wondered if I was going to sleep and dream of scary women and/or children with black eye coming to get me!

Lol agreed. I was actually rather petrified after watching this. You know when you've just seen a horror movie, when you're in bed, you just have to pull your feet under the covers (no matter how hot it is that night) and pull the covers right up over your head. Because everyone knows, no baddies can get you if you're completely under the covers But yeah, after this, I was terrified I was going to hear a "uuuhhh" noise at night and then the lights would turn themselves on and the girl would get me... but then I realised how stupid that was, because if that stupid girl came near me I'd kick her teeth in
