Now come on, tell me you DON'T love these movies!!!! They have got to be my all-time favorite sci-fi trilogy movies ever, probably my favorite trilogy altogether. The storylines, the suspense, the comical parts, it's all so great! I absolutely love the first one, how Marty's mum is infatuated with him... brilliant story writing... and in the second one, how through all their travelling, all the loopholes get explained, and it all makes sense, and at those moments you're just like "oooh, iget it... that's awsome!!!" My favorite is the first, then the second, then third. Most people i know hate the third, i love it! it's a nice ending the trilogy, and think about it, they did a great job, it's hard to go from a super-sci-fi time travelling blast to a movie set in the old west, they did a great job! And of course... how could I forget.. the totally awsome main theme, that just makes you feel all squiggly inside ;D "I HATE MANURE!"

I think the Back to the Future movies are brilliant. I loved them when growing up, and still watch them when they come on TV.
All three of them were great, the first was very original, and I liked how the second involved both the future, as well as Marty revisiting 1955 to see his previous self there.
Excellent movies.

I've been a fan of Back to the Future ever since October 1985 when I first saw the first of the three films. I believe I had just turned 8 years old.
It set me on a lifelong obsessions with DeLoreans. It also set mo on a lifelong obsession with time travel.
The movies were just so well written and well thought out. I've (when I had tons of spare time) sat and drawn diagrams of the DeLorean's temporal excursions making sure that no paradoxes could've occurred and also checking for any anomalies with the "ripple effect."
The writers of the films had an almost impeccable understanding of the finer points of time travel. As far as I can tell, there are no foul-ups to be found in the films. They're a work of sheer perfection.

Oh there's plenty of loop-holes in there, but hey, all sci-fi movies have them ;D But the movies still rock. People who think outside the square and ruin them, well they can get bent.

My dad introduced me to those movies. One weekend, he brought home from the video store the first in the trilogy. Let's just say I couldn't wait until I could watch the next two. The next weekend we rented the next two and I simply adored the second and third as much as the first.

I remember seeing these movies when I was a child, and I didn't understand too much of them at that moment. All that time travelling really got me confused and I ended up not understanding what was the actual time he lived in. When I grew up I saw them again and realized nothing was complicated about them, and I grew to like them. Marty is extremelly sweet, and Doc is really funny. I think people love these movies because they appeal to everyone desire of knowing where we came from and where are we heading to.

The Back to the Future movies is really what first got me into time travel as a kid, and subsequently a science fiction fan.

I, today watched Back to the Future part II. Its a great film and it makes me wonder what I would do if I was in his situation and how I would solve things if they went wrong. However I am very confused about the ending. The Doc gets hit by lightening then he ends up somewhere else and then the kid shows up. Then they end up in the Wild West. Can anyone help me understand this?
