I saw the original when I was a kid, and really liked it. I was big into playing Army as a kid, so loved all Army movies as well as sci-fi movies, to this one appealed to me from both aspects (the same reason Aliens initially appealed to me). A pretty good movie overall, and I still like it to this day.
Predator 2 I liked as well. It was cool to see a new setting - a city as opposed to the jungle, and it was pretty cool to see the other Predators arrive at the end and it showed us that they have been hunting us for at least several hundred years.

I saw the original in a theater as well (only I was already in college). Great movie. I liked Predator 2, but I think the self destruct at the end of the first one ruined the concept of the "honorable hunter" they introduced in the conclusion.

I have seen both Predator movies and i think they are great, although it looks that the Predator in 2 was a bit less experienced in hunting.
(I have seen all ALiens and predator movies but ill stay away from AvP)

I thought that both of these movies were great, and I love the idea of putting a predator in the city. I also like the predator's armour more in the AVP movie than in the older movies, it seems more sophisticated.

I really enjoy both of these movies. I have seen the original Predator movie loads of times and it is my favorite of the two. Anything with Arnold in is usually a great film. Predator is so great because it is set in the jungle and they have no way of contacting people so they are alone and basically helpless.
Predator 2 is OK. Its good that is set in a totally different scene so it isn't too much of a repeat of the second one. I think its really interesting at the end where the guy goes down and there is a Predator temple.

The predator temple that you are thinking about was actually the alien ship. I also thought that part was cool. If you noticed, on the wall where the predator had all of his trophies there was an alien skull. The first time I watched it I did not notice. I saw it during the 3rd or 4th time seeing it. I liked the part when the predator leader comes and confronts the main character and then hands him a musket pistol. This really struck me, the predators were here all the way since then!

I loved both Pred movies. I remember when I first saw the first one, haven't seen it uncut in a long time, though. What I remember most is all those guys dropping one by one, and how the preds hang their victims upside-down. Thought it was a nice touch, scary and intriguing at the same time.
Such gore, which I'm not a fan of but I still liked the movies.
