Haha.. perhaps.
It sort of makes me think of what red Kryptonite does to Clark/Superman. It just enhanced feelings he had kept inside.
So after the symbiote attached, it made all of Peter's true aggression and resentment towards MJ come out.

I had been a long time Spiderman fan bu by the time I stopped reading comics, the character Venom had not yet been introduced, . It was only by chance that a found a full scale comic magazine pf Amazing Spiderman - discovered about this new villain called Venom he was a really a major step ahead in the kinds enemies Spiderman would be facing, Sandman was an enemy both of Spiderman and the Fantastic Four. I've yet to see the movie. I had expected Spiderman would be dealing with the other bad guys such as Lizard and the Scorpion before he encountered Venom. My generartion when we were kids relied on comic books for entertainment, we had all the facts and figures of each an every favourite comic book character.

The one thing I hate about the film series so far is that Venom has had about a quarter of one film in terms of screen time: And now they've killed him off as well! He's one of my favourite Spiderman villains. But saying that, I'm not a massive fan of Spiderman, in general. I've found the films to be fairly entertaining but nothing special. Like the other big current film franchise, Pirates of The Caribbean, it's inoffensive and middle of the road but it they both do their job as decent family blockbusters.
