No one counts that damn Battlestar 1989 or whatever the hell it was as part of the official series. People had a major wrtiing in campaign after they cancelled the original series....so the network brought the show back....but with a cheaper budget and new storyline figuring if everything took place on earth they wouldnt have to waste money on special effects. I only count the true original series. Now I have to plot on how to kill Myke for not liking the original....*Plots deviously* That 1989 shit was awful. The original was the best and hate to say it, but I saw the new version and would have liked it better if they had the Cylons still being machines but no they have to be clones. I'm with ya Wolf on getting Myke though. I am a dedicated follower who will do whatever he is told

I thought the Cylons were still machines in the new series, just very human looking, like the little boy in A.I. I could be wrong though.
And a mutny? HAHA
I can't help it, I didn't grow up with the series. I only saw my first episode within this past year, and it was just too outdated and corny for my tastes. I'm sure if I grew up watching it, I would think differently though.

Am I glad Wolf has found another victim he can mutilate. LOL Well, I did see the original series waaaaay back when it was first shown on TV, and - for that time - it was really good. And as I said, I quite enjoyed it - while they were in space. I still remember them landing on this pleasure planet, where they went gambling. Everybody won huge amounts of money in the casino, and when they wanted to get upstairs to their bedrooms, they went "DOWNSTAIRS"... where they were cocooned and prepared for dindin... LOL But once they went to Earth, it really was quite pathetic.

aNd you call yourself a sci-fi fan I must admit, the one person I thought who knows practically all sci-fi programmes and movies would be you, Myke - considering you made a sci-fi board. But there is a lot of stuff you haven´t seen... LOL ;D

That's because Myke spends too much time watching shows like ER instead of sci-fi.....

aNd you call yourself a sci-fi fan LOL I like science fiction that stetches my imagination, and when it is set in the future, the original series did not do that for me at all. I must admit, the one person I thought who knows practically all sci-fi programmes and movies would be you, Myke - considering you made a sci-fi board. But there is a lot of stuff you haven´t seen... LOL ;D LOL See my above post. The reason I love science fiction is because it takes my imagination to the limit. There are a ton of shows and movies on the Sci-Fi Channel that I do not watch, simply because it does the exact opposite. That's because Myke spends too much time watching shows like ER instead of sci-fi..... LOL Funny. What's even funnier is your new title rank. Oooh.... then this should be a board about ER... LOL BTW, DOES anyone remember that particular episode I was talking about further up? LOL And nope, I don't remember it.

I was just teasing you, Myke. I know you are still young and didn´t have the chance to see all those great sci-fi programmes when they originally came out. And I can understand you not liking them when you see them nowadays and compared to other sci-fi programmes they do look rather outdated. And I am surprised NO ONE who is such a big BSG fan can remember THIS episode? Wolf? VGER?

Myke you can;t make no excuses, you got caught just admit that you prefer ER over sci-fi and go get the help that you need Remember admitting you need help is the first step to overcoming the problem lol

Durng thr afternoons ER is the only decent show that is on, so I watched it. Wolf likes to use that against me (all in good fun or coures) so I finally played a joke on TR's resdient joker (worlf). Check out his new rank (And I disabled GMods from alterning member groups. so he;s stuck with it) lol Personally, I couldn't care less about ER, but if it is on, I'll whatch. Besides, its so mcuh better then the rest of the daytime TV crap.
