I really do, though i can't explain why - It's kinda wierd! I was sad to see him go , but maybe there's hop in the form of B4. Don't forget, Data downloaded his whole memory file(s) to him in Nemesis. We'll have to see. R.I.P. Data

Of course Data will be missed, along with the rest of the crew. I have to say that of all the Star Trek movies produced, I liked Nemesis the least. Don't get me wrong, there was plenty of action and the acting and visual effects were as good as always, but Nemesis meant the end of the T.N.G crew as we knew it. With Ryker & Troy leaving and Data dying, there was nothing left. Despite B4 carrying Data's memory, it will never be the same again. Kind of sad really because T.N.G. was my favorite.

He can be "replaced", but only if you think that Kes was replaced by Seven of Nine. Or Jadzia was replaced by Ezri.
Someone may TAKE Data's place, but will have to make his or her OWN place in the ST Saga. As was the case with Seven and Ezri.

I voted yes. I will definatly miss Data. He was such an interesting, and complex character. The sad irony is, is that he finally achieved humanity in my opinion, the second he died. He sacrficed himself for his Caption, his mentor, his friend. His did this by his own choice, his own will, and even disobeyed orders to do this, and to me that is the actions of more then a machine, those are the actions of a human. He may not have been flesh and blood, but he was human, as human as an android could be. Yes, Data will be missed, as will the rest of the TNG crew.

I miss Data sure. But B-4 isn't going to do us any good. He is to primative. It would be like loading all the memory of my PC into my old Pentium 2 PC. Sure, it would all be there, but it wouldn't run properly, and it would be really messed up

If they do another next generation flim i believe B-4 will be an important character. Picard would keep him on the ship becuase it would remind him of data and what a great guy rather robot he was. Geordie could do him up becuase he was like the guy who mainly helped Data with him parts.

I'm not sure if Brent Spiner would want to play B-4 in a prominent role though. If I'm not mistaken, didn't he push to have Data killed off because he was gettting too old to play an ageless android.
