you want to bring back Kirk, fine I have no problem with that.
But leave the Borg out of this.
That book he wrote about the Borg, is about the stupidest thing I've ever heard of.
Every single idea was totally bogus & it sounds more like Futurama than Trek.
Worst of all is how he connect V'Ger with the Borg. Its totally illogical.
if they plan to bring him back, find another way.
If they want to use the Borg as a means to do so. Than rewrite the story to not include V'Ger & make it more logical & have a perfectly good reason why would the Borg bother with a corpse.

I haven't read the book to know all the fine details....and don;t mean they have to follow the book.....I just think Kirk deserved better treatment at the end of the movie.....there he goes saving a world again and he gets buried under a mound of rocks....bleh...

I kind of agree with Vold, kirk died and was buried how he lived, out there somewhere in the galaxy, where he was for the first time in his life, saving a place he had never been before.
It would be nice for his body to be brought back to Iowa, to finally be at peace.
I would imagine though, that Starfleet beamed his body onboard one of those ships when they cleaned up the Enterprise D wreckage, and brought his body back to Earth for Prime Directive reasons.
Eventually the humanoids of the Veridian system will explore that planet, and would find Kirks body, which could be compaired to us finding a body on Mars.
So it is safe to assume Starfleet brought Kirk home.

Then they shoulda showed it dammit...lol besides.....I still like kirk more then any of TNG crew.....I would love to see him make some more guest appeances....even if it is a minor role... ;D

There were rumors of Shatner guest starring on Enterprise, but I don't think it was to reprise his Kirk role.
RIP Captain Kirk.

I like a lot of the races on Star Trek. I am going to have to pick the Klingons as my favorites.
Vulcans and Sublian come in for a close second and third.

Klingons rock. I mean how many othe rraces sit around camp fires, sing songs of gorious batles, get completly wasted of bloodwine, scream, shout, and fight. LOL
It would be fun to party with a Klingon.
But beyond all of that, they have a string sence of honor, and I repect that. They just arent druenken warriors, then have srong moals and beliefs, and those positives make up fo any negatives they may have.
Yes, Klingons rock, and I am glad they are our allies now, it gave us a chance to travel further in depth to thier culture.

Please tell me you know Star Trek is a TV Show and not real life, Havn't Klingons been on every Star trek Show to date? I can remeber that they were on Voyager, Deep Space Nine, Enterprise, TOS and on The Next Generation. I'm not sure if they were on TAS (Never watched).

Opps, I forgot to tell you, I'm really from the 24th century. I travelled back in time (against Starfleet's wishes) to help Gene Roddeneberry document the future. I then traveled back to the 80's and held him document another centurty. These days, I choose to remian in the 21st centurty, and hand out on Temporal Reality. As for TAS, I have no idea either. I never saw it.

The hirogen are good because they are a mix of Kiingon and Kazon. Their ships are also very ad vanced.

I will not say favorite races per se, but I do find the Borg and the Vulcans of interest to me.

Kilngons are on VOY on the episode "Prophecy" and they were on TNG a couple of times. I'm not really sure about TAS or DS9 and TOS.

My favourite species are the Humans. The best because of their (ours) power to survive (I`m one off them ;D). Second species (not sure who they are) are the tunnel creatures in Deep Space 9 (because off their wisdom, sincerety and omnipotence). Third favourite are the Cardassians (courage, planning).
