I don't want to waste any space on explanation so I'll just say I totally agree with Conquering Wolf. A great choice! Luckilly I'm watching DS9 for the first time on spike TV I say luckilly, as I am happy that I have a whole new Trek series to enjoy for the first time, as opposed to have already have seen it and watching shows I've already seen. DS9 is a GREAT series for sure, and I am not able to get enough of it!!

All of the Trek series were great. Each show had it's own distinctive atmosphere and feeling, but one thing they shared was quality!

Voyager has always been my favourite. I got really mad when they announced that the show would end. I really wish that it would have taken them a few more years to get home

My favourite is TOS because there I found all the things which represent Star Trek for me. The characters are all like a family for me and I can only say that I **love** this series...

I really wish that it would have taken them a few more years to get home Thing is, at the time and even right now, 7 years is the length that they want to go with any trek series. The affiliates wanted DS9 to continue for another year or two as well as Voyager, but the creators did not want to do that. What I had wished they had done with Voyager is not made them get home, and just started making Voyager movies(like they did with TNG). Then in one movie, they get home and they can still continue the movies by showing what happened after they got home.

I always say Enterprise, I just really like the new series. Here is the order (and reasons) in which I like them: 1. Enterprise - It has Connor Trinneer, absolutely hottie!
- New ship, very cool
- Lower tech, closer to us
- It connects the here and now with the rest of the series
2. Deep Space Nine - Hello! Alexander Siddig all the way!
- I like the layout of the station.
- Odo and Quark's quarries are funny
- Interesting wormhole, although I do prefer Stargate's
3. Voyager - Robert Duncan McNeill (yes, I do like at least one guy in every show I regularly watch).
- I like the Delta Flyer, it is very interesting and pretty (I'm odd, I mean, I love F-14 Tomcats too)
- I love the doc, he's really really funny.
- The Intrepid class is sleek and awesome
- Captain Proton! I love the holodeck senarios here.
4. The Original Series - Ok, I used to have a huge crush on Doctor McCoy
- It was, after all, the series that really launched everything
- It was beautifully created
- The cheesy scripts make me laugh
5. The Next Generation - *thinks* I don't really have any reasons to like this show.
- *grins* Oh yeah, ten forward and large holodecks.
- The bridge layout is bad, except all the center seating, I like that.
- Awesome quote "Make it so"
Well, that's why and what Star Trek shows I like. I'm stil trying to see the Animated Series, but I don't think that's ever gonna happen unless my Aunt taped it to (she tapes everything).

Those are all very good Trekkie Lizard!! I can relate, as I'm absolutely in love with Jolene Blalock (T'Pol) I guess mine in order would be: *Deep Space 9 The absolute best in my mind. As Wolf says, it is the most realistic of the shows, with dirty Bajoran politics, a dangerous station right in the middle of busy trade route, money and profit exists in this one, the character development is supurb, some of the best in all of TV in my opinion, ect. *Voyager I loved the idea of them being lost in the Delta Quadrent. This truelly is 'where no one has gone before'. The mystery, the unkown, it all appeals to me. And much like Nyota says about the TOS crew, the Voyager crew feels like family to me. If I could serve anywhere in Starfleet, I'd serve on Voyager with Janeway and crew. And yes, Captain Proton was great! TNG I loved this one as well, but I love all of the series. I liked each of these characters as well, except Wesely . It was nice to see the Enterprise D, the Federations flagship. Some of the storylines were very well done too, ecspecially those towards the end involving the Romulans and Cardassians. Enterprise/TOS - Tied. I was watching a marathon og TOS this morning, and finally saw the one with Kirk's transporter accident, the one they ended up having in DS9. It was a great episode. Also they showed the one where Kirk and Spock had to battle on Vulcan, great stuff. I have to have these two tied though, as Enterprise isnt done yet, and it's an off and on show for me. For a while they will put out some AWESOME episodes, like the last half of season 3, but then sometimes they will put out some episodes that dosent even seem like Trek. And for the Animated Series Wolf, I have never heard of them being out yet, but I could be completly wrong.

if I remember right isnt that episode Pon Farr...and spocks mate chooses Kirk as her champion or whatever....and mccoy ends up drugging kirk to make everyone think he is dead and after they get up to the ship...and spock turns himself over for courtmartial...kirk comes up behind him and says something to him and spock gets this BIG old smile on his face for a second...and is like JIM....then regains his composure very quickly..lol

LOL You're right!! Bones told the Vulcan that the hypospray would make him breath the thin air easier, but it was really so simulate death. Spock did feel bad, and was going to relenquesh his command to Scotty, untill he saw Kirk was still alive, and almost bursted out into joy. Then he calmed down and was like "I am satasfied that Starfleet didnt loose a captiaon." Ha, yeah right, Spock almost let his human side get the best of him.

was such a good scene...one of the best episodes of TOS.....and to think later in life....in star trek V when spock saved kirk from "god" and they introduce spock as the gunner...and they go thru the lines"I thought I was going to die" "how could you, you were never alone" and kirk goes to hug spock....and spock is just like"Captain, please. Not in front of the klingons..." lol
