Now this is ridiculous... I've seen hail before but usually there is some rain with it. Now I'm watching a storm with nothing but ice falling out of the sky. You should hear the noise outside with all the ice hitting the cars. And boy there's a really nasty looking cloud around. And to think ten minutes ago the weather was so fine, and I was taking pictures of fluffy clouds... I'm concerned about all this extreme weather nowadays. Everytime I see something of the kind it reminds me of The Day after Tomorrow. I've already experienced two small tornadoes and my country is not supposed to be having such things at all.
Any extreme weather in your area lately?

I wish, I love extreme weather, we haven't had diddly squat but sun and clouds with a little rain in between for weeks here.

Lucky Kmylove! Boring blue skies here, no clouds, no nothing. I love grey skies and severe weather.

I love grey skies and severe weather. Ah, a man after my own heart. Sunny weather always makes me feel depressed, too hot. When it's c old outside, there's no sign of atmosphere, I'm all alone, more or le.. Oh, scuse me, I don't know what came over me, singing the Red Dwarf closing song there. Anyway, when it's cold outside, raining and there's a bit of thunder and lightning, boy do I feel good.

About the only truly extreme weather we get around here is in the winter - record snow falls, record low temperatures, weeks of sub-zero weather. Nobody seems to remember how back in the 80's and 90's, we barely had more than a few inches of snow and -2 farenheit was rare.
Edit: At least my worst fear wasn't realized...when I saw this title I thought it was about the song *shudders*

You should hear the noise outside with all the ice hitting the cars. And boy there's a really nasty looking cloud around. Now that's my kind of weather. I love storms, and rain, and hail and all that. And yes, the weather is getting very extreme. While on hols in southern Germany, it was on average 30 degrees C / 80 F, and I have been told that it's been like this since April. Then on the day we went back home, it suddenly rained like mad, and the temperatures dropped from 30 degrees C to half that and less. Back in England, the weather is the same as it was in Germany when we left - rainy and very cold. In fact, it was close to freezing. And it must have been like this for several days, because the house was rather cold, and it took several hours of central heating to get the house somewhat warmed up again. But when we had left England, just the week before, it was sunny, and a balmy 20 degrees C outside, just right for this time of year. So yeah... very extreme.
