The weather has calmed down a bit now. It's still far from Summer - mainly overcast and generally not that warm - but at least we're not getting flooded anymore.

Hot weather, it's seriously overrated. And Winter? Sladerously underrated.

LOL Arrrgghhh... it's suppose to clear up for the weekend. *cries* Oh well, I suppose the sun has to come through eventually. And it is nice sitting in the garden, reading a book.

Although, you would say: ice cream is overrated if everybody was talking about wanting it, but you don't. So, since everybody wants hot weather, I suppose you could say that it's overrated, although I can see that it doesn't really work together. LOL

Personally I can't see how people stand hot weather. I mean, you sweat, you can't move much for fear of overheating, it's difficult to keep cool. At least when it's cold you can put more on. So, if I had to choose between the Bahamas and Siberia, I'd choose Sibera, just so long a good living was provided. </rantrave>

If it's cold, I can put on a jumper and turn the heaters up. But when it's hot, I can't walk arould naked. In hot weather you don't want to work, you can't think, you can't sleep, every step is an effort - so what's so great about the heat? And I have never been a beach bum either. Could never picture myself spending my holiday just lying on the beach. What a time-waster.

You know, if you look at it this way, colder weather is better for you. "Why?" I hear you ask. Easy, it encourages people to excercise by making them move around to keep warm essentially.

Oh, well that certainly doesn't make ME move any more than I do lol But what makes the hot weather so bad is I work in an all-day-air-conditioning building. And it's as cold as the arctic in there! I have to wear a sweater/jacket every day! Seriously, my fingers lose the feeling in the tips after a while.
