I think it was terrible, better than the phantom menace but the battle at the end of Atack of the Clones pushes it a bit over the new one, likewis the ewoks in RotJ push it over the new one and attack of the clones, so I rank them as: Empire Strike Back New Hope Return of the Jedi Attack of the Clones Revenge of the Sith Phantom Menace
also on the subject of leia's "memories", remember that even in reality, people "remember" things that didn't really happen, to fill a "gap" in their mind (like who their mother was). after seen RotS, I just assumed that's what happedned

Episode III was exactly what it needed to be. It connected the new and the old. It was fairly predictable, but still had some "oomph" to it. I'd give it a 4 out of 5.
Oh, and.....long time no see everyone! =)

episode 3 sucked cheese.
as with episodes 1 and 2. the acting (not to mention dialogue) was almost nonexistant, with the exception of one or two actors. thankfully jar jar was only in one scene and had no lines...... it would have been unbearable if he had said anything.....
yoda schmoda, he was for some reason unable to acomplish anything in this movie. besides the fact that he was unable to forsee any of the events that transpired in the almost unbearable 3 hours or so of same-old-same-old lucas contrived crap, he did absolutely nothing in his long awaited fight with darth sidious. why did lucas have to make yoda suck?
as for anakins fight with obi-wan.... there are some major questions raised there...... namely... why the heck did anakin have to jump over obi-wan!? why didn't he try to jump to the right or left of him!?
once again padmes acting was horrible. if you can even call what she did acting........ the only actor worth mentioning in this movie was palpatine (i forget the actors name offhand...)
and the only real special effects worth mentioning are the ones in the first scene....

also i forgot to mention the scene in wich mace windu confronts palpatine.....
for some reason mace decided to continualy say things such as "it ends here!" or "im going to end this!" over and over again. he had palpatine with nowhere to go... he could have killed him anytime..... and yet... he just stands there saying useless things such as the above stated lines. what is wrong with this picture?

Perhaps "Nobody' , he was grappling with the responsibility that fell on him. Palpatine was the greatest evil known to them, and he had managed to hid under their very noses for for many years, all that time influencing the senate, and Anakin. How pissed would you be if your greatest enemy did the exact same thing to you.
Jedi don't kill. Plain and simple. But what if that person beyond redemtion? Do you kill him because you know the evil he will bring? Or do you let him live, inprison him someplace where he may eventually escape?
Say what you will, Revenge of the Sith did what it was suppose to.

maybe it did do what is was supoed to do.... but that doesnt excuse that fact that lucas has major problems when it come to his characters and his dialogue.

and one more thing.... did anyone notice that obi wan was like 30 at max, at the end of revenge of the sith.... and in the beggining of a new hope, he was like 80 years old.....
it was only a 18-20 year gap.... how/why did he age that much?
more of lucas's crap...

How do you know that Obi-wan was suppose to be 30? Maybe he was suppose to be older and it was just lousy work from the make-up department.

He didn't look 80 in a new hope..between 40 and 60 I thought they did really well on the age thing in all the movies. As for what I thought of the third movie, in my opinion it was complete garbage! But I know alot of people liked it!

My favorite scenes:
1. Opening space battle over the skies of Coruscant. (Most obviously!)
2. Battle scenes on Chewbacca's home planet of Kashyyyk. The swamp scenes were well done, and I liked it when that flying Wookie made that famous Tarzan Yell. I also like that armored Republic military personnel carrier, that BIG battle truck with all of those big wheels. I heard that type of vehicle can carry over 300 Republic troopers. That was pretty sweet.
3. Confrontation between General Grievous and Ben Kenobi. Man, when Grievous was swinging out 4 light sabers instead of just 1, I was almost stunned. I liked it when Kenobi just dropped in the middle of that area with all of those bad guys and said, "Hello." I wish I had THAT KIND of power, so I can just drop in the midst of a million or billion or so dangerous robots, androids and/or terminators, say "Hello", and STILL be able to destroy all of them, wouldn't you? Does anyone know how I can harness the Power of the Force or become an elemental, by the way?
4. THE CENTRAL FOCUS OF THE ENTIRE EPISODE - Anakin Skywalker's OFFICIAL conversion to the Dark Side of the Force, as he is named Darth Vader by Darth Sidious/Lord Palpatine. Let's face it, we all knew for a number of years (ever since STAR WARS: THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK came out) that something odd had happened to Luke's father, but it was nice to observe all of the drama surrounding the subject on a grand scale. The thing about it though, Anakin/Vader was still pretty unsure of what he was doing (especially with him crying on Mustufar). Here is a quote that I liked coming from the Emperor's mouth: "You are fulfilling your destiny."
5. The purging of the Separtist Leaders and the Jedis. This is what happens when ANY dictator gets way too much power. What else would one expect? However, I liked it when Vader killed those crafty Neomoidian guys - I hated them SO much. Those germs got what they deserved.
6. Yoda versus Palpatine. I definitely had to pause from eating my popcorn. I never knew that Yoda was THAT good with light sabers, but I guess that was why he was Head of the Jedi Council.
7. Kenobi versus Vader. More ferocious saber-fighting, right in the middle of the depths of Hell. It don't get no better than that.
One thing for sure, Darth Vader may have been very powerful and everything, but he was still negotiable towards the end (just watch STAR WARS: RETURN OF THE JEDI). I think that Sidious/Palpatine was the REAL evil mastermind. He was a genius, perhaps a direct descendant of Satan Himself. Not only did Palpatine have everything well planned, but he also took pleasure in what he did, while promoting the Forces of Darkness and tyrannically ruling the Galaxy. He was indeed very diabolical.
I think that Darth Vader yelling out, "NNNNOOOO!" towards the end of STAR WARS: EPISODE THREE was very trivial. To me, the movie had a supurb plot and an excellent storyline. To me, the rest of the movie outweighs that "NNNNOOOO!" Just about any one who is usually cool, calm and collected like Darth Vader can become heartbroken and/or aggravated to the point where they have to yell out, "NNNNOOOO!" I am sure that many here in this forum would have the same type of reaction if their homes and/or vehicles were destroyed by natural disasters; if their bank accounts were all of a sudden stolen or canceled; if their families and/or friends were all of a sudden mass murdered, etc. Yes, it was unusual for me to see Vader yell out "NNNNOOOO!", but hey, he was still Human. He lost what he loved the most, and as a result, still became a slave to the Dark Side.
I have to go now, but I thought that I might give my 2 cents to the question. I will talk to you guys later. Tell me what you all think.

I have seen Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith at the theaters a few days after it started playing nationwide back in May 2005. I was hyped up to see that movie. It was between average and good, but in many people's eyes, my favorite movie being Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back remains the best movie in the series. That was right before YTMND started using that Revenge of the Sith Darth Vader soundbyte.
