Come on, you know you had it. That moment that made your eyes roll, and almost wish that the scene had been replaced by a Jar Jar monologue. Almost. Or that one particular character didn't get as much of a fleshing out as you were hoping for. Speak your mind. For me, I think the last twenty minutes of the movie were depressing, and not for the intended reasons. They needed more time to wind out all of the storylines. I felt like the last little bit of the movie was the equivalent to lining up all the writers and having them to a policing action between Episodes III and IV. "Okay, this part needs to be changed to this...hmm...droids need to be over here...let's mention this guy here...oops, you've got to be on this planet...oh, yeah, whatever happened to them?" Aside from that, and the fact that Aayla (the hot blue twi'lek) didn't get nearly enough screentime...( ) And yes, we know the Vader scene sucked. Please tell me there was something you didn't like more than that.

Two things that I thought were ackward.... When Obi-wan and Anakin were rescuing Palpatine from Grevous, that force field shield came down on them, and immediately, Obi-Wan said "How did this happen, we're smarter then this?". That just seemed to unnatural and fake to me. Another thing, when Anakin and Padme were talking, Anakin tells her she is beautiful. She says "That's only because I am in love" Anakin replies "No, it's because I am in so much love with you". WTF? I was like Anakin may be a lot of things, but he is no sweet talker. That was one of the dumbest lines I have ever heard in my life. PAdme's was sweet, but Anakin's reply was retarted, lol.

EVERY bit of dialogue between Anakin and Padme was awful. I mean, with all the money Lucas spends on special effects, couldn't he at least hire a decent dialogue writer?
Aside from that, I didn't like how Obi Was rode that lizard thing, and i think Grievous needs to stop smoking.

Personally I loved the Vader scenes and the lizard too. I do agree that the romance scenes between Padme and Anakin were horrible. In fact, Natalie Portman was horrible in this film as she has been in all of them IMO. SLJ did a horrible job as Mace Windu in this film as well IMO. I also wasn't a huge fan of Greivous in this film. I thought the character was cool at first but the more I think about it, the more I see how unnecessary his character was. It would have been better if they had've let Tyranus live and basically let him serve in the role Greivous played in the film. I also hated how Tyranus died in the first few minutes of the film...very cheesy. Overall though I was very pleased with the film.

Am I the only one who liked Dooku's death? It was so much like Luke and Vader, and the fact that Anakin killed Dooku as opposed to Luke keeping Vader alive shows how much stronger Luke actually was.

I liked the whole scene...the smililarity to the Death Star II in so many ways, with Palpatine in the chair, even the similarity of the rooms. The only thing I didn't like is that it happened in the first five minutes of the movie. But, yeah...Padme had one good line in the movie, and that was when Palpatine announced the empire. "And this is how liberty dies...to thunderous applause." The love scenes...Lucas is not a romance writer, and I mean that in the worst possible way.

The only thing I didn't like is that it happened in the first five minutes of the movie. Well, it was something Lucas had to get out of the way, because that scene was the only thing that would allow the rest of the events to happen, and he tries to keep the movies as short as possible (the three original movies were little more than two hours long).

To me, Dooku dying in the begining of the movie was a surprise. I didn't expect that at all when he faced Anakin. It may have been done so early for the surprise element, and to show Palpatine that Anakin will indeed kill someone after they are beat, and helpless.
Did you see the way Dooku looked at Palpatine when he told Anakin to kill him? lol priceless.

I think the Anakin killing Dooku was of cource a necessity but as I said I think it would have been best to get rid of Greivous entirely and let Dooku get most of the screen time. It would have made his death scene a lot more climactic.

Meh, Lucas has added a new villain in all his movies, and I thought that besides the counghing, and four armed droid trained in the jedi arts is pretty cool.

Yeah, I thought that the romance scene between Anakin and Padme was pretty cheesy Also, Greivious was a pretty unnecessary character in some ways, but in other ways he wasn't. Remember, Palpatine said that the Senate would keep the war continuing as long as Greivious was alive, but Palpatine said that when the war was over he would drop his powers...

Yes, and he could have said the same thing about Dooku since Dooku was the open leader of the Separatists before he died at Anakin's hands. That's the only reason Greivous took command of the Separatist armies...because Dooku was killed.

That's the only reason Greivous took command of the Separatist armies...because Dooku was killed. But remember, Palpatine wanted Anakin as his apprentice, he no longer wanted Dooku. It would only make sense that he put Dokuu into a situation where he could be killed. Grevous meant nothing to him, as long as he lived, it benifited Palpatine.
