i dont mean to offend anyone with this poll (and im not sure how i could..)
but i really wanted to talk about the ewoks and their unforgivable antics in rotj...
i personaly hate them with all my heart and soul, and consiquently hate rotj just because of them. how in the world lucas can justify over sized teddy bears beating the crap out of imperial stormtroopers is beyond me...
please share your thoughts

Yes I agree they can be a bit annoying sometimes, but remember they helped alot destroying those walkers. If they didn't there would be no more main characters and the empire would have won.

Oh also they didn't beat the crap out of the stormtroopers because they were just throwing rocks and shooting arrows. If a ewok engaged in hand to hand combat with a trooper it wouldn't last long....

but what im saying is that its a bit rediculous that they put up any kind of fight at all.
i mean we're talking about imperial storm troopers here... the best of the best (presumably) i think it's kind of dumb that little teddy bears were able to beat them....

I liked the Ewoks. They didn't exactly whip the storm troopers. If you remember they took heavy casulties. The little buggers paid the price. It was just a case of the natives knowing their home territory better. They had camoflage and the element of surprise. The stormtroopers were white and stood out like a sore thumb as they were expecting no opposition. Usually people forget these factors as they are bashing Lucas for including the Ewoks, but I like the part they play in the saga.

ok i made an error and thanx for the compliment on my humor but i have to tell you that you doublre posted *tsk tsk* and now my highly respected opinion: i think that the ewoks hopping on stormtroopers and stabbing them countlless times did not ruin the movie in fact it game it a violent/funny scean *BOOM* theres my opinion

well the very fact that little teddy bears (regardless of the situation, or numbers) beat the most highly trained soldiers in the galaxy..... makes me sick. i mean.... they only had friggen rocks, sticks, bolas, and logs and they beat the stromtroopers.... wtf is that!? how do you rationlize that happening!?

I tihnk the Ewoks are amazing little critters. When I watched Star Wars as a kid they made me laugh. Relatively primitive beings managed to overcome the deadly Imperial forces.

This situation can relate to another movie. In the Last Samurai the samurai's managed to kill most of the men that had better weapons then they did. They were primative but still put up a fight to the very end.

I loved the ewoks. They didn't graphically show any ewoks being shot to death but you can see A LOT of them die. They were getting their furry butts kicked around and then at the end... the rebels and the ewoks came back when they figured out better ways to destroy the machines and troopers. I think it made the movie even better, having the ewoks. The aren't really teddy bears either...their too fiesty... teddy bears are saps.
