Ok, ok. Maybe she doesn't walk like a man... but she does walk kind of funny...
BTW, these smilies are hilarious! She doesn't walk kind of funny. LOL Have YOU ever tried walking in high heels and STILL walking like a man? Well, Samantha is wearing army boots and that makes it a little difficult to walk elegantly like a lady. In fact, those army boots are darn heavy and I am surprised she does walk as lady-like as she does in those boots.

I think the Carter character really evolved in season 6 and 7. The solo gigs, one on the X-301 and the other trying to evade the super goa'uld until help could arrive, were very powerful episodes for me.
There have been pivotal episodes where each of the characters are on their own in a bad situation and have to tough it out on with their own physical and mental resources. They have been some of my favorites!

How is it everyone in the show speaks with their teeth clenched, or from the sides of their mouth. As for Carter is really very ugly.

I never noticed that people talked with teeth clenched, etc. I'll have to watch for it! Oooh...now don't go starting trouble in here, calling Carter ugly! Them's fighting words!

I suppose calling someone beautiful is the exact opposite, ok then Brooke Buirke should be playing the part of Carter not Amanda Tapping

When I watched the first 2-3 episodes of SG1, I wasn't terribly impressed with Tapping or the Carter character. Over time, I think Tapping has really made something of the character, and has definitely made the character her own. Now, it's impossible to imagine someone else playing the role.

I can't think of ANYONE better to play Carter than Amanda Tapping. I am usually very critical, especially when it comes to femal roles but Tapping is perfect for the role. Not butch, yet she can hold her own with any of the guys. And Amanda Tapping is not ugly. Personally, I prefer women who don't look like barbie dolls but are still attractive, if you know what I mean. Sigourney Weaver is one of those women. :samhappy: And who the hell is Brooke Burke? *Runs off to check out the internet* Oh... some "all teeth" girlie. Can't see her in the role of Carter. And then again, I am more objective since I am not a guy and don't have the hots for her. hahahahaha

I am the kind of guy who likes to see 'Barbie Doll' type girls doing action roles - its a great deal more fun show to watch - although it may not be not realistic, but definitely really very cool.

Personally I do not agree that Carter walks “normal”…what is normal??? Carter walks the way Carter walks…what difference does it make? Next I do not agree that Carter is ugly, and as for “Barbie Doll” action chicks, I think I’ll pass on that…love to see the “Barbie Chicks” just not as action roles. I prefer to see someone that is reasonably good looking, AND believable in the role. The perfect woman for an action role hottie is Angelina Jolie!!! Now she can walk even when she is wearing boots!!!

I never pay attention to how women walk on tv... there are other things to look at besides feet. Amanda is a fine looking woman and fits the role of Sam Carter perfectly.

The way a person walks has little to do with “feet”, after all lets face it one has to go in front of the other…it has more to do with presentation. Not that I think the original “Carter walks strange” argument had any merit, but I don’t understand your foot watching comment. There are many different ways women and men walk and each way fits the life or style of life any of us has chosen, however to watch a person walk has little to do with their feet, unless of course they suffer from some debilitating disease, or malformation. I do however agree with you in that Amanda makes a fine Sam.

Maybe feet with quotations fit the post?
