I think this show bites. The film was cool but the show bored me.

Wow. When I get an SG1 and a Voyager DVD in the mail from Netflix on the same day, I'm not even torn. I'll watch the SG1 first unless the last Voyager DVD ended with a cliff-hanger. I never saw SG1 on television though. Started with the pilot on DVD and have watched them sequentially into season 6 (and counting). This could be a hard show to follow if you miss episodes.

Tricky this one... I loved the movie - and, some of the people I preferred in the movie and their gadgets, like the helmet from Ra and such. And their make-up and costumes were more oppulent. But I also loved the series - for their own reason. I didn't like one better than the other, but liked them both the same... differently.

Didn't like the movie but love the show but the fact the I saw the show first may have something to do with it.

I loved the movie. I bought it not too long ago for $36. The cheapest I could find it. lol I used to watch the show regularly, the Space channel aired all the seasons... but I stopped when they screwed up... they played season 5 and then jumped to season 7... That makes sense, don't it? lol The show is pretty good, though. O'Neill is funny.
And I have a strange attraction to Carter... even though she walks like a man... lol

And I have a strange attraction to Carter... even though she walks like a man... lol
She walks like a man? LOL Just because she doesn't wear 10-inch heels and walks like a hooker on the job doesn't mean she walks like a man. I would say she walks like a human being.

Ok, ok. Maybe she doesn't walk like a man... but she does walk kind of funny...
BTW, these smilies are hilarious!
