Lance Henriken had a little boy...who got ran over by some dirt bikers...he goes to this witch woman and summons pumpkinhead to get revenge on them....then after he decides he has had enough revenge he sides with them against the pumpkinhead.

Quite spooky this film even though it was just a B-Movie. And no Myke, the monster was not after kids but young adults - so to speak - one of who killed the kid of the guy who wanted revenge and wakened Pumpkinhead to go after the group of people.

The last movie that absolutely scared the hell out of me was Scream. And that was because I was in seventh grade and it was the first horror movie I had ever seen in my life. I was terrified for weeks. lol

I was terrified for weeks. lol I have to admit that this film spooked me quite a bit as well. What I hated though was that they made you think the murderer was someone other than the guy who actually was suppose to be the killer. I hated that because they led you on the wrong trail so you wouldn´t guess who the killer was.

I saw The Village and thought it was terrible. One of the worst films I've ever seen. I expected much better out of Night than this. I thought most of the acting was poor, the plot was not believable, and the twist was easily guessed. I figured it out about halfway through. There are two main twists. The advertisments are very misleading about this film. The trailers for the movie are very misleading. This is NOT a horror film but rather an exploration into the human condition. I think it was poorly done and ranks in my worst films of all time list. Stewart Little was better. But we each have our own opinion.

I saw it the other day and thought the movie was very interesting. I agree with Dreamreaver that it wasn't really what it was advertised to be, but I still liked it.
I wasn't all that shocked at the twist near the end, becuase I figured it out about half-way through the movie due to some of the dialogue. Still though, I kinda liked the twist. I thought it made a very interesting and provacative story. M. Night did a pretty good job I think.
The only problem for me is it that the movie is a bit slow sometimes, and if you haven't seen it yet, don't be fooled by the traliers. The film has its creepy moments and jump scenes, but it still wasn't that scary to me.

For a movie by Shalmayan(or however you spell his name), I was HUGELY disappointed in the movie.
And it wasn't all that hard to figure out the plot at all, much like the 6th sense, but this time there was no anti-climatic scene that made you say " oh my god" like 6th sense did.

For those that didn't get the Stewart Little comment, Night was the screenwriter for that film.

as i stated before....it is not at all scary like what you think it is supposed to be....and i said the last scene was kind of anti-climactic....it is not like BAM....OK..now you understand the whole story.....you go ...ohhhhhhhhhhh....ok...that was interesting....if you are going to the movie to see an action movie you will be disappointed.....but if you go to the movie and just don;t expect anything i think you will be surprised....i liked it....and i would go see it again.....
