X-Files is not only one of the absolute best sci fi shows ever, it is generally one of the best shows ever!! I was a fan every since the very beginning, when I thought it was gonna be just another cop show, lol how wrong I was. I missed the last few seasons due to travelling the country at the time, but this past winter I was finally able to catch up on the post Mulder seasons, with Doggetts and Reyes, and they were damn good shows too. I also liked how each show was different. You had some serious shows, some spooky, downright creepy shows, and sometimes some funny ones, just palin goofy, lol. But yeah, X-Files gets two thunbs up from me, for being a great show in every aspect!

A lot of critics bagged Doggett's character, but they need to realise the show would not grow without making changes like this. I enjoyed the sutle freshness of the new characters.

Same here, without Mulder, they had no choice except to move on, and looking back, even with Doggett, and eventually Monica Reyes, the show was still X-Files to me, just new detectives being assinged to the project. No, I didn't mind it at all, I actually enjoyed those characters, and thought they had some great episodes. If there is an X-Files 2, like there is rumors of, I'd like to see Doggett in the movie (with Mulder and Scully of course).

When it first came out, I thought, Oh this is stupid. I love this show; it's so interesting how they did everything with it. I used to stay up till like 3 in the morning watching it, lol. I do think it was depressing how they took away Mulder for half of the 8th season and pretty much all of the 9th season, but Doggett and Rayes were still pretty kool. Skinner got to be pretty awesome too.I like the later episodes in season 7 and 8 the best, but the episodes when Scully was a skeptic still were pretty funny. Anyway though, great show.

The show was for those who love conspiracy theories. Now there are so many conspiracy theory websites, no one needs to watch X-Files

I loooove the X-Files. I used to come in from school and watch it. Soon I had seen every episode (except for those without Mulder). Now I watch it on occassion, like when you said at 3 am or something. It's a very cool show, and it's kinda creepy. I used to walk around the house whistling the theme song. hehe *I Heart Fox Mulder.* (Forget Scully, she's too moody.)

I love "The X-Files," too. I use to watch that show when I was three and it scared the daylights out of me! I had nightmares for weeks from watching some of the gory episodes.
My favorite episode is "Darkness Falls." That one was terryfing.

I used to watch the X-Files back in 1997 and 1998 when the reruns were shown on FX and the new episodes used to be on FOX years before the end of the series. I also saw the X-Files movie 8 years ago at the theaters, but then I lost interest on that series shortly after during my change of hard times.
