oh my,........ well at least the computer animation looked good....lol they made the alien huge, way to big in my opinon, and the actors were not promising, even though it is an action film, the action was lacking, it was a small dissapointmant, but I did still enjoy seeing it in the theaters, since for me action is best to see on the big screen... The predators looked cool but not as good as in The Predator,

The predators looked cool but not as good as in The Predator, The predators looked exactly the same as the one in "Predator". I have now at last seen this film. For some reason when the film came into the cinemas, my husband and I didn't bother with it. But we bought the DVD on Friday and watched it yesterday. All in all, it was an OK film. It had some good startling actions and I was rather surprised as to how quickly everyone died. I also liked the fact that the woman was the only survivor - a loyal follow-up to the Alien trilogy (yes, I say trilogy), where Ripley was the only one always surviving. ;D As usual, I thought the film was a little different than it actually was but it was not too bad. Oh... and the DVD gives you the choice of watching the "longer" version. Don't know what peeps missed in the cinemas but you get the choice of 2 versions on the DVD. ;D

I've finally seen this film too! I bought it yesterday. And Valderra have you got the 2 Disc Extreme Edition becuase that has the extended edition i have it. I watched that becuase it couldn't be any worse it would just improve it because of more scenes.
I thought it was ace but a little short. I like the part where the three predators killed all the people outside. But like what Valderra said it was very quick the way everybody died. I thought it was intresting about how the hunt began. I was suprised by how the woman and the remaining predator teamed up against the aliens and the Queen.
I thought it was brilliant at the end when the predator was laying on the table and the alien popped out. It also reminded me becuase i forgot about when the facehugger jumped on him. This has made a new theory that alien takes some of the charcteristics of its host. Like for this one it had the mouth of a predator. With Alien 3 it seemed to act like a dog which was its host. So overall this was an ace movie a must to see if anybody hasn't but a little short.

Yes, we got the 2-disc DVD set, that's why I said we saw the longer version. ;D And who would have thought that I would ever feel sorry for the Predator, when he got killed in the end. Awwww.... LOL And of course that little alien popping out of his body on the spaceship was a perfect ending to a sequel??

The popping of the alien at the end also provokes many questions about what will happen in the predators ship. It would be good if they did a Alien vs Predator 2 where the aliens attack the predators on their planet or ship.

I got to see the extended version last night as well at a friends house. As for the alien on board the Predator ship, the only fear I would have is one Predator killed an alien with one swip of his blades, like it was all too easy, when in fact a single alien is a forbatible opponent, even for a Predator. And yes, I felt sorry for that one too when he was killed in the end. Was strange viewing a Predator as a 'Good Guy'. Still though, like I said before, it was really cool to see a human and a Predator working together, and communicate together.

I saw it in theaters, and I have to say I did like it. My friend's brother and I were rooting for Alien the whole time- my friend was rooting for Predator. I know technically it was a tie, but my friend and I constantly argue about who won. Who do you guys think "won"?

Well looking at the film i would say Predators becuase the Predator destoryed all the Aliens.
But at the end a Predator has an alien inside it and imagine a Predator/Alien how powerful it would be.

The Alien emerging from the dead predator will do absolutely nothing. The film showed that the aliens were used on Earth for hunting. If the Alien is on a Predator ship, The Predators have a number options before them: 1-Fight the Aliens and destroy them 2- Eject them into space like it was done so many times before in all the previous Alien movies. 3-If all else fails self-destruct the star ship
What I am concerned about was the sinking Alien he could at the time of sinking leave eggs floating on the ocean surface. They would float onto to the shore and wreak havoc wherever they show up, it would mean all out war.

How do the predators get hold of an alien queen?

It would be imposssible for the queen to lay more eggs because it needs that big sack that looks like a water baloon to reproduce more eggs. And second of all the aliens wouldn't wreak havoc wherever they land because they need they're queen to coordinate themselves. Also the aliens can't reproduce without they're queen.

The Predator ship simply appeared out of nowhere in the final scenes, perhaps it had cloaking technology like the Klingons and the Romulans. How would a Predator ship match up against The Next Generation Enterprise? Would the Predators be able to battle the Borg?

The Predator ship simply appeared out of nowhere in the final scenes, perhaps it had cloaking technology like the Klingons and the Romulans. How would a Predator ship match up against The Next Generation Enterprise? Would the Predators be able to battle the Borg? The Predator's ships do indeed have cloaking technology. Remember at the end of Predator 2 the ship and Predators uncloaked all around Danny Glover, before the one Predator gave him the antique pistol. I am sure the Predators could take on The Borg. In Star Trek voyager there was a hunter race known as The Hirogen who was very similar to the Predators, as far as hunting prey was concerned. They didn't seem to worried about the Borg, so I'm not sure the Predators would either. However, if the Borg assimilated Predator technology, that would make The Borg more dangerous to the Predators, so who would win in the end we may never know. As for the Enterprise against the Predator ship, there isn't enough info about the Predator ships to really know. I could see the Predator ships being super war ships, or simple transport ships, neither would surprise me.
