Yeah, I was very surprised to see that, that was such a nice touch, and a nice tribute to Alec Guinnis in a way, who was the Obi-Wan I grew up with.

Ya, it's really too bad that Alec died before the PT was finished, he could have had a cameo or something in ROTS near the end, just to tie the PT into the OT that much more.
I was very impressed with the first ROTS trailer, but discussion of that belongs in a different thread.

I'm going to go with the only movie that I have on DVD: Star Wars Episode II Attack Of The Clones
Most of the movies are really good, but I liked this one. The battle scenes were off the chart!

Alec Guiness hated Star Wars after a short while. He hate how so many people could be so obsessed with what he considered to be 'just a film'.

my ex-boyfriend kinda got me more into Star Wars than I ever would have imagined, and I watched all of the old, plus the new movies with him, so after that, I'd have to say that The Return of the Jedi is my favorite simply because of the feeling of triumph and accomplishment at the very end of the movie...and those little creatures who look like little teddy bears (eh, I forgot their official species name ) were the cutest!

Ewoks. They even had two spin off movies, Return to Endor, I think, something like that.

Loads of comics strips and other stories came from them, like 'Caravan of Courage' etc. Lots of fiesty characters have developed through these, and there are more famous ones like Wicket W. Warrick that appear in these spin-offs, too.

Star Wars Episode V The Empire Strikes Back I don't have a reason I just like it the most.

I have to go with Empire as my Favorite. The story line is incredible, and there is so much more character development and tension than Ep. IV or VI. Although, everyhting I've seen and read about Ep. III it could easily win,and become my new favorite. It is suppposed to be incredibly dark, and writh with tension, and character development. Anakin's transforamtion to Vader should be incredibly interesting. I have a great poster I just got, showing a dark Anakin with his cape billowing into the Vader mask. The Battle Sequences in Ep. II were incredible, and they lend themselves nicely to The Star Wars Battle Front Video Game.
Time will tell if Ep. III pans out, and lives up to all of the hype.

I also love how the titles work so well together. The Phantom Menace is a wonderful title. It sets up the entire Star Wars universe and Saga nicely. It is also never clear what the Phantom Meanace is. Attack of the Clones, sets up the entire Clone Wars. Revenge of the Sith, tells us that the Sith are going to make a masterful ploy against the Republic. Besides we already know the outcome. Palpatine becomes the Emperor with Anakin/Vader, as his right hand man. The Sith Will control the galaxy.
A New Hope, we see young Luke Skywalker gather a rag tag team of would be heroes, who join the Rebellion against the empire, giving it a huge shot in the arm. The Empire Strikes Back, and how. The Return of the Jedi, tells us that the Jedi, guardians of freedom, and protectors of the galaxy, return to save the galaxy.
But the symmetry between Ep. III and VI I absolutely love. Revenge of the SITH, and Return of the JEDI, both endings show us both sides of the force. The Prequel Trilogy ending with Dark winning, and the Original with Light. The symmetry is especially cool since the original title of Return of the Jedi, was REVENGE of the Jedi. ;D

I will say Empire Strikes Back...I say this because, out of them all, it was the rawest and had the most realistic feel. The storyline was excellent, in the fact that it didn't sugar coat the storyline....It was a thrilling movie to watch for the first time when it came out. I remember sitting on the edge of my seat, I remember not being able to turn away from it, it pulled me into the story....I choose this one, because out of all of them, this one still is able to have me on the edge of my seat.
