I just realizes something. In the fourth one when they swim through the kitchen, they get to the top and Wren locks the door to escape. And yet when Winona Rider falls into the water, she re-appears on the other side of the door. So why the funk did they swim through the kitchen and lose the other chick and Christie, when they could have gone the other way?

Hmm, maybe since Winona Ryder was an andrioid, she was somehow able to get into the security computer and over ride the lock, much like she did when Ripley hooked up into the data base. I'm not sure, I cant remember him locking the door at this moment. .. .

Couldn't be, Wren shot her then ran through the door and said "Father lock the door" and then about a minute later Winona opens the door from the side Wren is on. Everyone else is on the wrong side. Get my drift? It probably sounds like gibberish.

I do know they never tell us how she got there, but there may be a reasonable theory. I'm like you Oliver, I notice things like that too, little inconsistancies in movie plots.

LOL if you notice stuff like that then I hope you noticed this:
In Star Wars Episode 4, when all the storm troppers are entering some room, one of them hits his head on the door panel in the roof. It's an absolute pisser. ;D

Like Myke mentioned....being an android...and seeing as how no one else was around to see her do impossible stuff...she probably got into the other side using her android strength to break down a door or hatch or something...something she wouldnt have done in the open...

Ridley Scott is a great director, but James Cameron is one of the best, that must be why Aliens in my favorite one. I have no clue who directed the fourth one, but it was an entertaining movie. I have mixed feelings on the Alien/Human hybred, but I feel on of the main reasons why Alien Resserection was made was because they were able to use alien CGI now, completly. I know they used some in part III to give the alien super speed. but the first two movies were people in costumes. Now. .. as terrofied as I'd be to see one of the large aliens, nothing would scare my like one of those hand looking egg implanter aliens running at me. Remember in Aliens when Riply and Newt were locked in the medical bay by Burk, the sprinklet systems had went off and Riply was crawling backwards on the floor while that egg impanters were running after her? Great effects for a 1986 movie, very spooky. Yes I'd have to say all the breeds of those aliens in general are probably the most terrofying thing animals to ever have the misfortune of running into. yes I agree that the facehuggers were a bit creepy. It's funny when thyey just suddenly jump out at ripley and you jump out of your seat. Also the 3rd movie is crap because hicks was a good character and it will be good if he could be in the 3rd movie helping to trap the alien and all but David fincher may have not looked to that much . I also think that the 3rd movie is kind of bad because the humans are so helpless with no guns just knifves and axes.

For Alien 3, I think they were trying to go back to the original roots of the films. Just like in Alien, we have a group of people stranded, unprepaired, and a single alien terrorizing them, as opposed to Aliens where we had a platoon of Marines armed to the teeth with weapons. And yes, Hicks was a graet character. It would have beeb better if Newt and Hicks survived between movies, and if tey had to die, die in Alien 3, that would have been much more dramatic, to see them dying in the movie, as opposed to finding out they were killed between films. The 2nd one, Aliens is still my favorite though!
