Doctor who is amazing! Not sure what my favourite doctor is, or fav companion, but I love the cypermen and darleks and am pretty happy that they are finally uniting to form "one". And upgrade/extermitate the world! But I doubt they're friendship will last long...

Unfortunately, we don't get the David Tennant eps in the US yet, but I have seen some on youtube. He's... fantastic! ;D Definately one of the best out of the eleven we've seen (counting the Valeyard).

Well season 1 of the New Dr. ended in the U.S. and season 2 ended in the U.K.. New episodes for season 3 arent due out in the U.K. till Xmas. But I was fortunate enough to see season 2 before they have hit the U.S..
If you've liked the 1st season of the new Dr. you'll absolutely LOVE season 2 with a hardcore passion.
Im not 1 to give spoilers, yet the new Dr. is a treasure. Fans of the older Dr.'s will enjoy a neat suprise.
Just sucks having seen season 2 before SciFi channel airs them. Yet I shall watch them fervently. The writing exceeds all expectations, and the characters are well defined. Too the point you'll be crying as deeply as I have.

David Tennant is awsome! I love him! He is just as good as Christopher Eccelston. I've missed the last few episodes though, the last one I saw was when they were on the planet with the cats, who had like all those disease people, it was freaky as... but... Cassandra is dead now!! I couldn't believe it, I was nearly in tears at the end when she was inside Chip and she walked up to herself in the past and said "You are beautiful" then died... I love Doctor Who. It's a bit hokey, but hey, it rocks! ;D

I wasn't sure if I would accept David Tennant as the Doctor (I had just seen him in an English TV film, in which he played a really nasty guy), but I have to say I actually prefer him to Chris Eccleston.
The last episode where Rose 'dies' is rather good. I even had dewy eyes at the end, it was rather well acted, even by whatshername who plays Rose. LOL

I don 't like how they seem to be wasting incarnations of the Doctor for no reason. they wasted one on a stupid US movie for no reason, and then why let Eccleston sign for only one year? After Tennant they only have one doctor incarnation left they can use according to their own mythos so unless they decide to come up with some silly way of saying, "Oh, the doctor has extra lives now" like in a videogame they basically are near the end of the series already, god forbid some kind of contract dispute or something which makes Tennant leave.

That's so right Wolf, I wish they could have kept Eccleston, but Tennant is still good. Last night's episode... mwwhaowhoa! that ending... zomg... please kill me!! the suspsense of waiting one week... How will they get out of that? The new cybermen are awsome, i love the design. "You have been deemed inferior, you will be exterminated"

You have got mixed up with Daleks and Cybermen. Daleks say exterminate and the cybermen say delete.

In reply to Conquering Wolf My hope is that wonderfully clever minds are already working on regeneration worries and that being the case, we fans can relax in the confidence that Doctor Who is set to live forever.
Maybe at some future time one of his offspring could take over the role, could that be a possibility? Many fans in the past have toyed with the idea of a female Doctor Who and I wonder if the last regeneration might allow this to happen. I am not going to waste time worrying anyway. There is too much classic and new to enjoy for now and so much to look forward to in the next series. ( I have to add though that I hope the most gorgeous David Tennant hangs around for a long, long time)

Hmmmm....a female reincarnation, would that be even possible? I know it's possible from a writing standpoint but could you pull it off since it has never been mentioned if the doctor can change sex or not. That also makes me wonder, they called theirselves the Time Lords, were the women of their species the same kind of species as the men or were there even women? Maybe they reproduced in a different kind of manner. Not sure what they could do with all that. I still dislike the idea that he is the only one of his species that suvived the last time war but they must have had a reason for it.
