Oh, i LOVE the theme song! It's so alieniec, so spaced-out, so ... doctor who! ;D The wormhole effect always dazzles me. I think it's one of the best intros to any science fiction show, right behind red dwarf's intros (changes with every season :] red dwarf theme song owns all :])

Yeah, the Doctor Who song captured my attention when I was a kid, I think it was that that got me into watching the show. I agree it is alieniec sounding, very strange.
I watched the new Doctor Who last night, well, part of it, had to leave, but when I heard the theme song come on, I suddenly remembered the old song, and knew the new one was the same, but a little different. A lot of old memories started coming back.
I've never seen an episode of Red Dwarf nor heard it's song. I'll see if I can find it as well.

I have to confess that Doctor Who is my all time favourite television series. I'm an avid fan of Tom Baker's Doctor and being the sad person I am; I have on my computer all official variations the theme tune. ::Silly Grin:: Personally I prefer the classic series but the new one is good too. Nice. Just a pity it has to be the title of one of the lesser Who stories. Oh well... ::Grin::

LOL, now there's a memory that hasn't been resurrected in a long trime, the K9 series.
Torchwood is good, better than I thought it was going to be. I'm still trying to work out why on earth it's set in Wales though.

A Doctor Who related site I found: For the keen Doctor Who fan may I recommend this site: The Doctor Who Reference Guide. This site contains synopses for many of the Doctor Who TV stories, books, comics and audios, and contains information about each Doctor. I found it very useful and interesting, and it's bulging with info. I recommend it.
