has anyone heard of the show Time Tunnel? Only by name. Both Time tunnel and Voyagers I've only heard from discussions in the Sci Fi TV board months ago, I havem't seen either one.

I would love a 25th century series! That's what I was hoping for, and then they came out with Enterprise. Lame! I want the future, not the past! Besides, if all this crap with the NX-01 had happened in the past to the other series, wouldn't they mention it at least once? It's too screwed up to go back to the past. Plus their stuff is cooler in the "past" just because they have better graphics nowadays than in Kirk time 25th Century! (And no freaking time police. Snorefest)

If they did that there would be no "eye candy" for us viewers to see making poorer ratings. So I deal with it Kapt~`'-

Remember when Sisko got the 'Christopher Pike' award? I think that should have been the 'Jonathan Archer' award. ;D
According to Enterprise, Archer is on his way to stand next to Kirk in the line of great legends. I can't remember anything extrodinary Pike did besides captain the Enterprise NCC-1701 for a short while....

Well...Pike figured in a few of the original novels that were "blessed" by the ST Legacy Keepers. I forget the name of one novel, but it is a slice of life from each of Dax' hosts. Pike figured prominently in one of the slices. I'll try to find the novel tomorrow. It's in a bookcase SOMEWHERE in this house.
Pike's terrible injury was the result of a heroic action...rescuing school children as I recall.

I never knew that, but know Jonathan Archer saved the entire planet of Earth from destruction of the hands of the Xindi. Too bad the way things worked out that is would have been impossable for the writers to have mentioned Archer in the 23 rd and 24 th century series. They often mention fictional characters from Trek's past, too bad Archer wasn't one of the names the came up with and mentioned.

Technically they did tie Archer into the 24th Century Myke.
If you watch Nemesis closely, when Data and Picard are discussing where the fleet is compared to their location, one of the ships name is indeed the USS Archer.
I saw that and thought I was seeing things, but I paused the DVD and sure enough it did say USS Archer

LOL, that's pretty cool. The did have Enterprise either out, or in production when they were making Nemisis, right? If so that is pretty cool. I have never noticed that before, I may put in the DVD tonight when I go to bed, I haven't watched it for a few months anyway.

I think it was already done filming for most of the first season. Because Nemesis came out right after Voyager went off the air, as they had aired Enterprise commercials during the final 2 hour episode of Voyager as well.

I know of it......have seen a few scattered episodes....it was an old cheesy sci fi type series....wasn't too bad...but not exactly great either,... I have mentioned Voyagers! On here before and not many people seem to remember it.....but it was one of the best early sci fi shows ever...and had Jon Erik Hexum as the main time traveller.....going around fixing history....and then of course a few years later when he was doing a spy show called Cover Up I think it was...he killed himself when a blank from a gun hit him in the head .....he shot himself....

It means the ship was named 'Archer' on purpose! Very cool Mike, I never knew that before!

I actually had to find the VHS of Endgame to make sure. But halfway through, they aired the first commercial for it but didnt give anything about the show except to say "before Picard, Janeway, Sisko, Kirk, there was Archer..." then flashed Enterprise coming this fall on Wednesdays on UPN.
Thats the only things I wish they would put onto the DVD sets of the series they ave been doing, the promo commercials for the new shows.
TNG's was done on Star Trek IV, DS9 was done on TNG, and Voyager was done on DS9.

Do you think if they did a 25th century series they would have armour technolgy and those kool weapons and would you think the borg would ever be what they were having 20,000 lightyears of space.

I think the only way to stop the Borg, is to completly wipe them out. They are very talented at regeneration, and I expect sooner or later they will launch an assult on The Federation, one the size of the assult by the Dominion. The only reason the Federation won the Dominion War, was because of the mistakes of the Dominion, and Cardassia turning against them. Thier faith in their new Cardassia allies, and they way they treated them towards the end was thier fatal mistake. I don't see the Borg making any mistakes like that, and as hard as it is to destroy one Cube (seems more diffuicult for a fleet of Federation ships to destroy one cube in the Alpha quadrent then it did for one small USS Voyager to destroy on in the Delta quadrent), I am not so sure the Federation could destroy a fllet of cubes. For thier technology, I am sure they would be more advanced. Ablative Armor would likely be on all ships by this time, and maybe even quantum sheilding, allowing ships to phase in and out of our space time continioum to protect thierselves against weapons. There are alot of possiblilities, and could be alot of fun!

I never knew that, but know Jonathan Archer saved the entire planet of Earth from destruction of the hands of the Xindi. We'll have to see how the series ends on how they deal with that. It may have never actually happened. You know how they do things like that sometimes Kapt~`'-
