LOL...not too many eppies stand out in my mind for certain characters and that was one of them.....she was being a real bitch....she would have spent 10 years looking for a way to get o'neill back if she had to....it was the one where the one deadly agent who escaped prison was with them...I always forget his name....but the one jack doesn;t trust....he is opening up a strange gate....he zaps Carter and then goes thru and O'Neill follows him...and they end up on some supposed paradise planet where everyone killed each other....just so we make sure we are talking about the same eppie Yep, we're talking about the same episode! ;D If it was your tushie on that moon, I bet you'd appreciate someone who would never give up on finding you . Probably wouldn't call her names either It was a nice progression of the arc that season, her growing fear of screwing up and losing another SG team member, even though she wasn't responsible for the loss of Daniel. She turned into a real mother hen. And yes, it was Maybourne! It was kind of funny in a later episode when O'Neil and Teal'c both admitted that the'd "seen" Daniel since he'd ascended. And Sam was like "And you didn't TELL me?" Their excuse, "I thought everyone would think I was crazy".

That's it. The infamous N.I.D. John DeLancey is also a regular rogue member of the N.I.D.
It takes a serious rogue to be a rogue in a rogue organization. Q is plenty rogue enough!

Maybe u should make a discusion about the asguard ;D The correct name is "Asgard". Sorry, but I have noticed your username and thought it was written the wrong way. Don't worry, it's just me - I am a stickler when it comes to spelling names correctly. LOL ;D

Technically, it is "Asgard", but the alternate spelling is so common on the web that it will pop up in a search, too. The Asgard were the Norse pantheon of gods. The Asgard of Stargate were supposed to have been the reality behind the Norse mythology.
I was thinking about making Teal'c the next topic of discussion, but we can do the Asgard next. Let me go find a good picture and the games can begin!
P.S. I've been giving each character 2-3 weeks or so because this forum isn't quite as active as the Star Trek forum. I want to give all the people who like to discuss Stargate a chance at the characters before I add a new one.
If you think I should put up new pictures for discussion more often, let me know!

I have only seen a couple episodes with Thor and the Asgard in general....but they seem to be pretty cool.....funky little alien dudes with ultra technology....and I know they had a huge war against the replicators for a while.

I think there are probably a couple of reasons why they don't clone themselves: -- The cloning process preserves the individual, i.e., Thor's consciousness is transferred into the new body. Maybe it would be possible to copy the consciousness and not transfer it. I'm not sure how Thor would feel about having duplicates running around, though. I wouldn't like the idea of another ME out there doing stuff, interacting with people, making decisions. Even as clones I think the Asgard would want to remain unique individuals. -- The cloning process is also becoming problematic, as errors in the DNA proliferate with each clone. Eventually most if not all clones will be non-viable. That's why they're exploring the idea of going back to an earlier version of their evolution, as seen in one of the late season 6 episodes. Here's my burning question... What do they do with their bodily wastes? There's apparently no exit...
