It would be nice wouldn't it. Unfortunatly we, as a species, cause ourselves too many problems here on our planet to really look at the stars the way we have the potential to do.

I think we should research a different form of communication, other than radio, cause radio might only be able to work on our planet... I know it works on Mars, cause thats how we communicate with the rovers. But there has to be some other form of communication!

Sub Space communication. That's the only other form of communication for science fiction I can think of.

True... Wait for another "flying saucer" to crash into a populated area, then see if we can't find a new form of communication!

The Universe is endless. There must be life out there. Maybe more advanced than us or maybe less. But is not possible for us to be alone. I am 100% sure there are aliens.

There are other forms of communication out there, but it's not how we necessarily think of it. This would include different kind of rays, (waves/particles, whatever) that would allow another form of intelligent life to know we exist. Now this doesn't mean we can send Morse code with infrared throughout the universe, but think about the things that we study when we look for other similar life supporting planets... Those "people" would be lloking for us too. So send them something that would let them know we're here. Light through a prism perhaps. I dunno, I'm just guessing here, but I think we don't need to limit ourselves to radio, and think "out of the box"
I'm pretty sure there are aliens as well. Ever read Stephen King's Dreamcatcher (not the movie, the book). It may be more something like that though.

Well, you know there are millions of different waves traveling in space all the time, maybe some of those waves are unidentifiable and the government wont tell us that they think the waves are an advanced form of communication, cause it would panick billions! I wouldn't panick, I would just walk around saying "Told you so!"

Were it so, I'd rather know than have my government feed me crap. Well which is what they are currently doing. Ergo, in comes my plan to capture some small island and name it Farscape and have my own nation. With liberty and justice for all. Uh huh.

All are welcome on my little isle of hope. However he have to have one socialist agenda: to build a sustainable life station so that we may live out our own sci fi series! ;D

Let's face it, comedy is a dead art form. Now tragedy, ha ha ha, that's funny.

I believe in other life on other worlds. There are billions of planets so if 1/1000 had life imagine how many species there are. Plus what makes us so special that we have life and no where else there is life.
Does anybody believe in the story where Mars was inhabited. It looked just like Earth. Then there was a problem and Mars started changing to what it looks like now. So they left and went very far away. But on ship stayed and went to Earth. That surely explains at one point in time there was a sudden explosion of life on Earth. It was on this film called "Mission to Mars." It is where a rescue team got to Mars and they discover an alien buliding and a alien shows them what happened. A must see. I believe in that story anyway. Do you?

I do not believe that, or disbelieve it. Because if I did believe it, then it would close the door on me believing more then one theory. Sooooo.... Do I believe the Mars theory is possible? Yes, with all of my heart! Even if we did not come from Mars, I still believe life existed on Mars at one point. Intelligent or not, I do know know, but do believe in the life. Imagine this though, some of us take a ship to another planet, and we crash land surviving the crash. We would not be able to to rebuild the ship, not more then anyone would be able to re-build their car if the crashed in the woods. There would be no resources. Over the genreations of living on this planet, they may have tore the ship apart for shelter and different reasons, but after thousands of years, the new generations wouild have likelt forgot the stories of where they came from, or refused to believe them, and they got lost over time. Interensting theory.
