Can i ask a question? I don't know how aliens are really made. i know a alien comes out but i don't know the whole process. I know theres a face hugger and a chest burster involved but how does that happen. I also know the face hugger comes out of the egg. So please could someone tell me the whole process?

Not sure if the queen alien has sex or not - you don't get to see that - but she is the one laying all those eggs, from which her young emerge...

I don't think the Queen alien mates, I think all she does is sit around all day and self produce face huggers. Then the face huggers find hosts to inject warrior eggs, so the warriors can hatch, and protect the queen. So basically it is a cycle, which ends with the warriors, who probably protects, and brings back food for the queen, much like a bee colony.

I would imagine that the queen mates with an adult alien, which seeds her to start her ovulating to produce the eggs. Since James Cameron liked to use terrestrial insects as an analogy for the alien life cycle, the concept of a drone mating with her isn't farfetched. Also, bear in mind that in the famous deleted Cocoon Scene from Alien where Ripley discovers Dallas and Brett cocooned by the alien, we see Brett being transformed into an alien egg. The alien quite possibly used the same process that it would to fertilize a queen to transform a host into an egg. The egg would release a facehugger onto the other host (Dallas) and the next generation of alien would be born.

She has to mate or they would be clones cos the genes would be exactly the same so they would be all queens. But if there are two parents then it would be different.

Actually, the eggs are gender neutral as well as the larva and embryos. After emerging from the hosts, pheromones dictate where in the caste the new adult alien should be.

I was practically raised on aliens all of my life, and from the first I can still remember loving the series. On my last birthday I got a present that seemed like gold when I held it, it was the aliens Quatrilogy! I can't possibly descide which of the aliens films was better, or which would be remembered longer, I think the worst one was the thrid one but that was because it seemed like they didn't put as much effort into it as they had the others. However Alien Ressurection more than made up for it in my opinion.
I watched the entire boxed set and all of the special features in two days time, and though I was extremely buggy by the end of the week all I could do was sit there and go "wow!"
I still watch them at least once a month, front to back or back to front, it doesn't make much difference to me, I'm a die hard Aliens fan, and the fact that the whole series was born from a simple horror sc-fi idea is brilliant!
I only hope the movies continue to be made just as well done as the previous four were, I'd hate for them to turn into a cheap run-off, as many of my other favorites in the past have done.

Ive now seen Alien Reserection (alien 4). Its a great film easily better than the first and third. One thing that let it down it the birth of that white alien. I mean the white alien dosen't look at scary and intimidating. It rather reminds me of a dog by how it acts. At the end the white alien gets sucked into space if it was a normal alien it wouldn't of happened cos they don't have skin like the other one. Thier skin is more like a shell.

I think the reason for it's non intimidating look was so that we could see the human in it, and sympathize more with Ripley when she has to kill it. I could be wrong though....

Yeah, that makes sense thinking about it that way.

Uh, wasn't Alien: Misdirection the fourth movie? I have never heard of that one before, but I can think I can correctly say it wasn't the forth movie in the series. Was it a show perhaps?

Sorry for the great confusion; I didn't realize that roman a clef was an alien concept on this thread. Let me start over. Uh, wasn't Alien Resurrection the fourth movie? Now, how was that?
